Reason # 9 – Edward
Seriously, what is there to say about Edward that I haven’t already said? He’s just amazing. I think the reason he is so loved by fans is that he is different from boys, or men in general, today. He is courteous, chaste, unselfish, giving, kind, smart, responsible, funny, dedicated, loving… Okay, I could go on all day. Let’s just sum it up by saying he is a Gentleman, in the truest sense of the word. And yet he thinks he is a monster, unworthy of love, who should not exist. As Robert Pattinson puts it, he hates himself and wants to die but he’s too chicken to do anything about it because he doesn’t know what – if anything – exists for him after this life. I’m so glad that Stephenie Meyer started writing Midnight Sun because it gives us the readers such a clear picture of Edward. In Twilight we see him as Bella sees him, and in her eyes he is perfect, but that’s only because she is in love with him. Most other people would probably not see him as perfect, only Bella. So Midnight Sun lets us see what he thinks of himself as well as everyone else who’s thoughts he reads. Edward is not really perfect, he is flawed just like everyone else. He tends to over react to things. A great example of that would be Chapter 3 in New Moon, or his approach to the whole love triangle in Eclipse. But all in all he really does have Bella’s best interest at heart and he would do anything for her. And really, what more can you ask for than complete devotion from the person you love? Edward is not only beautiful but also generous to a fault. And, even knowing all I do about Edward, I’m still totally and completely 110% Team Edward. Like Bella says, there wasn’t any choice to make... It was always Edward…
I tried to find some pictures that I haven't already used, so here is something new!!
Seeing this, how could you not melt to a giant pile of goo at the very thought of him?
Edward saying good-bye to Bella as he goes to hunt the bad vamps and Bella goes into hiding. This is the scene in the movie when he says "You are my life now." In the book he says it in her bedroom after she has told him that she loves him - actually told him, not just muttered it in her sleep.
Here are Edward and Bella dancing at the prom. Klutz that she is, Bella does not dance, but Edward convinces her and with him as her partner, he makes it easy for her. Did I mention he's good at everything?!?!

Edward and Bella in the movie scene where she confronts him about being a vampire. It's different from the book, but I think the feeling is there. He is worried that she will run away from him screaming and in fear, but she doesn't.
