Graduation, Part Deux...

Pictures from the big night!! :)

Tim really was there, we just didn't to meet up afterwards -- there were SO many people!! :D

My cap was over the whole thing by the end. It took itself off. I forgot how horrible those things can be... :P

I didn't get any pictures with my favorite instructors, Sally and CJ, but I did see them and hug them.

And all of my friends split off to find their own families, so I didn't even get any pictures with them either. :(

Hopefully we will get together again soon and fix that. ;)

Here I am -- the graduate!!!

Me and the kids. I don't know how excited they were to sit through a 2 hour ceremony, plus the hour before it started, but they were good and tired when we finally got home at midnight. :D

Me, the kids, and my parents.

Me and my best friend, Melissa.

It was a fun night.
I'm glad I did it.
I was sad to leave the campus.
My feet were killing me by the end.
But man, I had cute shoes!!! :D

Graduation Day...

Today is the day.
It's taken me almost 5 years.
But I did it.
So, I should be more excited about it, right?

Just think, in less time than that I will be going to his graduation...

Okay, NOW I feel old. :)
Hopefully lots of wild and crazy graduation pictures will follow.
With the friends I have, I know they won't be too tame... :D

Happy Birthday to My Spunk...

23 years ago today the world was blessed with a whole lot of pretty.

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Pattinson.

You have NO idea how grateful we are!!! :D

My Spunk is surprised that I remembered his birthday...

But with a smile like that, how could I forget???

I do love his hands in his hair...

I imagine that in this picture he is asking himself, "Why hasn't Brandi called me lately???"

Here are some cute baby pictures --

Look at that face...

He still makes this face... And I love it!!!

Oh, cute!!!

Happy Birthday to my favorite boy!!!

I hope your day is wonderful, just like you are!!!

MTV Blogs has a fun little article about why we should love My Spunk. You can go here to read the whole thing -- http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2009/05/13/23-reasons-to-love-twilight-star-robert-pattinson-on-his-23rd-birthday/

Only 23 reasons??? I can think of so many more!!! :D

23: I’m thankful that he won’t think I’m a weirdo (I hope) if he ever reads this blog post. (wink wink)

22: He’s friends with Camilla Bell, who’s dating Joe Jonas. The possibility that RPattz jams with a Jonas Brother is something we should all be thankful for.

21: He can totally pwn Harry Potter and kick Voldemort’s ass. Voldemort did have Cedric/RPattz murdered by Peter Pettigrew, but he had to die and be unavailable for future installments of Harry Potter, right? Robert wouldn’t have had any time to be in “Twilight” and a Harry Potter/Cedric Diggory spinoff wouldn’t be as awesome.

20: He likes to read. See everyone! Reading is fundamental!

19: He has a nice accent.

18: He always has that brooding look. It’s like he’s in pain but deep in thought at the same time. It’s kind of amazing.

17: His astrological sign is Taurus, which mean he’s dependable, romantic, passionate, and thoughtful. ‘Nuff said.

16: According to an interview with the LA Times, coughing makes him cry. Since I have asthma, coughing makes me cry too. We’re a match made in heaven.

15: He has his own grungy, laid-back style. He makes beanie hats look good.

14: Robert seems like a normal dude, someone you can have a nice chat with. He doesn’t come off like one of those Hollywood player types, which is probably why so many women are crushing on him. Remember last November when he said he hadn’t kissed a girl in a while? That’s pretty hard to believe, but it’s cute that he doesn’t know he’s gorgeous.

13: He smells like roses. Of course I don’t really know if he does or not, but he definitely doesn’t stink! Take that, haters!

12: He aspires to be like acting great Jack Nicholson. I aspire to be Jack Nicholson during my spare time too.

11: When he made his first appearance in “Twilight” and entered the cafeteria, he made us all wish that we lived in some rainy town with vampires running rampant in the woods. Sure it sounds scary, but none of that mattered as long as we could see Robert during lunch period. It made me yearn for my high school days. Oh the memories!

10: He can talk about his underwear, his toenails, and his not-so-stellar running ability on camera and still make the ladies swoon. I mean how many other heartthrobs would be willing to talk about those topics? Yeah. None.

9: If his vampire skills ever fail him, he can always resort to his expertise in wizardry. Which makes him lethal with a wooden stick.

8: He can wear a curly cue mustache as the bizarre Salvador Dali in “Little Ashes” and still look hot.

7: He plays Edward Cullen, the sparkly immortal, who for many women is the perfect boyfriend (minus the blood sucking vampire part).

6: He can sing (swoon) really well. (You had “Never Think” on repeat! Admit it!)

5: He has the ability to look like this with a cigarette in his mouth.

4: He managed to turn the words “spider monkey” into a term of endearment. He can call me spider monkey any day.

3: His hair. Whether it’s short, long, unruly, or perfectly styled, he has FANTASTIC hair.

2: He is so awkward and seemingly shy during all of his interviews that you just want to sit him down, give him a hug and say, “It’s going to be alright. The camera won’t eat you.” That awkwardness/goofiness makes him so endearing. It’s part of his charm.

(DRUM ROLL PLEASE)

1. I know Robert is here to stay, which means I have something to occupy my time for years to come. With his upcoming projects and the rest of the flicks from the “Twilight” saga coming out in theaters, I won’t have time to twiddle my thumbs. Crushing on RPattz is like the Best. Hobby. Ever!

Cinco de Mayo Funnies...

*Reminder*
If you want to listen to this video make sure to turn off the music playlist at the bottom of the page. It's a big round button with the pause sign on it. :)

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, and because I can't find the comedy routine I was REALLY wanting where they describe how Cinco de Mayo became a holiday, I thought I'd post this. It's pretty funny!! Hope you have a good laugh!! :D

And if any of you know the comedy routine I'm talking about, the one where they ask the Mexican workers what day they want for a holiday and they pick December 25th and January 1st and some others before finally saying May the 5th, let me know. I love that one but I can't remember who did it! :( It's so funny, especially when the bosses ask the workers what name they want the holiday to have and they think for a minute before finally saying, "...Cinco de Mayo!" :D Hilarious!!!!! :D

Arts and Academics Night...

Tonight was Arts and Academics Night at the kids school. It's a chance for parents to come and see some of the things that their kids have been working on during the year and also for awards to be given out. None of our kids got any awards for anything (Yeah, I don't really encourage all the extra work that has to go into earning those things. I know, bad mom.) so we just got to go to their classrooms and let them show us their stuff!! Good times...

Here is Jillen in her class room. This is her desk. I only wish her bedroom was this clean. :D

Here she is showing us the 2 drawings that she did. The top one is a flag (I can't remember what she said it was a flag of. Bad mom, remember???) and the bottom one is of George Washington. She did a state report on Washington state so maybe these are for that.

Here she is at her desk again. As cute as she is, I think the best part of this is Jorden checking to see if he can still fit into the desks, you know, since he's a big junior high kid now. :D

He still fit. :)

Next was Jayden's class room. Imagine our SHOCK when we saw a math test of his stapled to the board on the wall with a 100% on it!! We are so proud... :')

And here he is at his desk. Seriously, why can't they keep their rooms as clean as their desks? Oh right, bad mom. :P

And here he is showing us his charcoal drawings of pots. I think he did a pretty good job!! Shading is not an easy thing to do. He was proud of them. :)

And here is our little Jensen in her classroom. This is her picture telling what she wants to be when she grows up. She didn't finish coloring it, but she didn't care. She says she wants to be a cowgirl when she grows up. Huh, wonder where that came from... :D

Here she is at her desk with the butterfly she made. She was pretty proud of all the colors she used. :D

And her with her little booklet of what color she likes. She chose red, although she said that's not her favorite color. She drew an apple, a flower, a car, and a unicorn. Pretty smart! :D

Wow, I can't believe the school year is almost over! Crazy!!!

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Cake...

Here are the results of Jensen's birthday.
She wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles. Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad. :D I didn't have any chocolate sprinkles but I did have red sugar sprinkles and chocolate chips, so we made due.

The birthday girl...

Oh, they love that their mom MAKES them take a picture before they get any cake. :D
I'm so mean... :P Jorden was spending the night with his cousin, so he missed out on the birthday fun. Poor guy. Good thing we have 4 birthdays next month to make up for it!! :D

So much fire...

We were surprised the smoke detector didn't go off! :D

Finally, CAKE!!! And Ice Cream!! Score!!!

Ahhh, Jayden thinks he's so tough. Little does he know he's actually signing I Love You.
See, he does love me!! :D

Yeah, this picture ought to keep the boys away in a few years. :)

She's so toothless, it's a wonder she's able to chew all that cake! :D

And after an hour of birthday shopping at the store, this is what she picked out.
This is ALL she picked out.
I think the store needs to get a bigger selection of dinosaur and bug toys.

Happy Birthday Baby!!! :)
Your Momma Loves You!!!

Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking...

200 DAYS PEOPLE!!!
200 DAYS!!!!!
In honor of the New Moon movie that is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada, and soon to be in Italy, I thought I'd share some of the amazing fan art that Twilight fans have made. If you want more you can find about 80 of these mock movie posters at -- http://www.hisgoldeneyes.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=440
Enjoy!!!
In case you don't know, in this story Edward leaves Bella in an effort to protect her and make her safe from the danger his lifestyle poses to her. Needless to say, she doesn't take it very well. But she does make friends with Jacob, who has secrets of his own.
Are they really just friends, or is there something more?
I love this one. And it's got one of the last things Edward says to Bella before he leaves --
It will be as if I never existed.
And this one...
I had to add this one because it has Jane, one of the ruling vampires, in it. She is being played by Dakota Fanning. I'm pretty excited for that!!!
Let's just say Bella takes up what Alice refers to as Extreme Sports when she jumps off a cliff. I can't wait for this scene in the movie!!!
He's pretty...

Ahhh, the Cullens...

I like this one...
This one might be more appropriate for the 3rd book, when there is an actual love triangle, but I like it!!!

Again, cliff diving. How far will Bella go for love? Guess you'll have to wait and see. :)

Ignore the date on the bottom of this one. It's pretty...

200 DAYS!!!!!

I Can't Wait!!!!!

Jensen is 7...

Today my sweet little brown eyed baby turns 7.
Where did those 7 years go? :(
It's just gonna get harder for me from here on out, isn't it?

Happy Birthday Jensen!!!

I think I'll try and find some different pictures, maybe a few that I haven't used before.
If I can see straight through all the tears of sadness that is... :)

Miss Jensen in her first picture --

At 1 month old, with Jillen, Jayden, and Jorden --

2 months old --

At about 3 months old, with Jillen, Jayden, and Jorden -- It's always funny to me how, looking back, I can see the kids personalities in different pictures. In this one we have Jorden, who had scraped up his face but isn't worried about it; Jillen who is happy and a-okay; Jayden who is being a little devious, like he always is; and Jensen who is just not having it! Pretty typical of how they are now! :D

Jensen and her 1st birthday!!

Jensen and her Plug. Most of the pictures I have of her during her first year of life have this plug or one of it's siblings since she went through about 10 of them. But she sure did love them!!

Jensen and Jayden hiding in a drawer. Again, with the plug --

Jensen at 1 year old --

Jensen on her 2nd birthday --

Jensen and her big, brown eyes. This was at Blake's wedding reception. I remember we went into the kitchen for something and there was a woman and her daughter there. As we walked in she said, "Oh, she's co cute!" I said thanks and then the woman asked what her name was. When I told her, "It's Jensen," the woman gasped and then said, "Oh my goodness, now she's even cuter!!" I guess I did good on her name, huh? :P

Jensen on her 3rd birthday. The dress she wore that day had already come off because she didn't want to get it dirty with all the cake and ice cream she wanted to eat. :D

Jensen and the kids on Mother's Day 2005 --

Jensen on Christmas 2005 driving her new little car in the backyard --

Jensen -- 3 years old --

Jensen and Jillen on Jensen's 4th birthday --

Jensen at the zoo on her Kindergarten field trip --

Jensen after her first real haircut -- Spring 2008 --

Jensen and her Uncle Beau -- Spring 2008 --

Jensen, toothless --

Jensen on her 6th birthday -- (wonder what happened to those 5th birthday pictures...)

Jensen and one of Bambi's puppies -- Fall 2008 --

Jensen ready for her Spring Sing this week --

Want to know what Jensen loves? Here you go!! This is the poster that she had to take for school when she was Star Student for a week. It had to show all the things she loves plus pictures of her and her family. She was pretty excited to make it!! It's supposed to be her wearing a dress covered in all of her favorite things. And then with pictures of her and us all around it.
Happy Birthday to my sweet little baby!!!
I will always remember May 1st, 2002, at 2:44 in the afternoon when the doctor took you out and I thought, "That doesn't feel like a 10 pound baby... I think that doctor was off a bit." I'd say so! Jensen was 8lbs 2oz, the smallest of my babies, and she still is the smallest of the kids. And that doctor was worried about her being too big... :D
